Exclamation Engine not cranking after alternator replacement

Hi Guys,

Yesterday I replaced the alternator in my 2005 Toyota Hiace, it is a 2.0L petrel automatic Japanese import model.
During the installation we forgot to disconnect the battery and arced out the battery wire (main one) onto the chassis causing sparks to fly.
Now my car alarm wont arm or disarm (No button does anything) the key in ignition will turn on the reds (acc) but turning it to start position does nothing, doesnt crank at all..

I have checked all the fuses in all the locations and all are fine, I cant however find the alarm control unit and am guessing its that that has either blown a fuse or armed the immobilizer..

does anyone know where I can find the module and/or how to reset it?

Any help greatly appreciated!

Have you tested for power everywhere? There might be a fusible link somewhere in the harness that blew, and it looks like just a regular piece of wire. I would chase for power at, at the least, the ignition switch as alarms are usually wired there instead of to the battery.
