Default Emergency help needed- No Power 1999 4 runner

I recently had problems with my Toyota 4 Runner. Unfortunately there is no local Toyota dealer so I had it towed to a local mechanic who knows about as much as I do which is not much.

Well here goes.

I am stuck in Mexico. The 4 runner 1999 with 3.4 L engine has about 307,000 miles on it and it has been running great until we stopped using it at the end of April 2012. When we restarted using it in October, 2012 the engine roared up fine but after a few miles it started losing power. I replaced the fuel filter which was dirty and thought that was it. But it wasnít. I had it towed and the guy got about 3 codes off the check engine light and wrote them down and cleared them but has since lost them.

He removed all the fuel injectors and had them professionally cleaned. He installed a new timing belt (old one was like new) and installed a new water pump.

He reassembled everything and it ran the same. Starts right up and idles well but as soon as you push down on the gas pedal it wants to die.= no power.

He then installed a new fuel pump and strainer. Guess what, still the same.

PLEASE PLEASE HELP
