Default oil pressure

I have a 99 camry, 239k miles, runs good just oil light flickers when it idles, is this common, fresh and full of oil, 2.2 4 cyl, just got it last week

you need to hook up a manual gauge. and see what that tells you. with that many miles the oil pump could be going out. if thats all it is the cost will not be to great. with a manual gauge if you leave it on permanent. DONT use nylon line. use copper, or better steel line. or a metal braided line. BUT NEVER NYLON.
