1993 Previa radio wiring and replacement
Hi everyone. My dad has a 93 previa and it has a dead radio. I decided to change the double din radio for a single din that my brother gave me. It's an older model but it works. To make a long story short, I went ahead and bought the radio wiring that you see everywhere with the two plugs on it and a cubby. I have soldered the wiring on the after market unit and finally took the oem radio out to swap it. Unfortunately the oem radio only has one plug and it's not the one you see every being sold. The oem radio also has two antenna wires, a normal size version and a smaller diameter version.
In short I can't plug the one I bought to the one the oem radio was plugged into. I did noticed two other plugs that look like the ones I bought and they seem to fit. I have not done it, but the colors don't match so I don't want to even try. I was about to but I decided not to. In short, does anyone know where to find the correct harness so I don't need to chop the wires which I rather not do. Also, is there an adapter for these two toyota antennas since they are different sizes?
Let me see if I can add some pictures to help with this.
