Never had a problem with my Sequioa. I love it. It is a 2001 with 100,000 miles. (I travel the eastern seaboard alot) We fit 7 adults and 1 marine(!) comfortably in it. As for maintenace just the regular oil changes and we had to replace the timing something when we hit the 100,000 mark. My husband works for Toyota's service garage and very rarely do people want o part with them. Being that they are v-8 they did get traded in for fuel-efficent vehicles.

Toyota is the better vehicle. Also, check the consumer reports on the Infiniti, I believe there have been a large number of problems with that vehicle.

The Sequoia can go for 1,000,000 kilometers, probably fall apart first. I have seen a lot of old Toyotas on the road, back from the 80's, still running. I rarely see Toyotas in used car lots as owners never want to part with them. (1 KM = 0.6 Miles)

Old thread but worth the post. I'd still go for the Sequoia, i believe it's a better family vehicle. And i'm betting on better resale values on Toyota.
