Default Toyota RAV4 vs. Honda CR-V?

I'm casually in the market for a compact SUV. The RAV4 and CR-V are obviously at the top of the list. Let me know both good and bad experiences with your RAV4 or CR-V.
Thanks

I would buy the RAV4 because it looks a little less awkward then a CR-V but the Honda has better interior quality and they're both reliable.

Pros of RAV4:
Fuel Economy (19/26)
Performance of V6
Safety Equipment
maneuverability
Manageable dimensions

Cons:
Hard third row seat cushions
scant third row space

Pros of CR-V:
High-quality interior
Quiet ride
Smooth transmission
Value
Gas Mileage (20/26)

Cons:
Base models seat fabric
No V6 option
folding design of backseat

I would also (if you aren't buying for another 6 months) wait for the next generation Hyundai Tucson that was unveiled yesterday.

or If you need one now you should look at the Volkswagen Tiguan, Nissan Rogue, Hyundai Santa Fe, or Kia Borrego (larger but good value)

I've test driven both and found the Rav4 to be the more comfortable of the 2. The Rav4 V6 blows away the CR-V in performance. You can read all the ratings out there, but in the end it's you who knows how you feel in the vehicle.
