Default Selling a 2007 toyota Avalon during the Toyota recall...?

I'm thinking about selling my avalon because I need the money quick and getting another car. It's not really a trade in because i'm thinking about just paying monthly for the other car.
But I'm thinking about selling my avalon at carmax and my car might be one of those recalled toyota vehicles. Do you think I'll get less money for it? It's the limited with all the options..
And I might just buy a honda insight 2010.. any advices on how to get low apr and getting it with a good price??
I might go sell my avalon around next week. and buy the car next week. :/ do u think i shud wiat until the end of the month??ahh! haha hellp!
Thanks!

Don't buy any Japanese cars. They are hurting the U.S economy. So fine, buy one if you want the value of your house to go down even more, and if you want a greater chance of losing your job or smaller chance of even getting a job these days all because you decided to get a frickin Japanese car. I work very hard at Chrysler and I know their cars aren't the best, but it hurts me that I work 11 hours a day so people would talk sh*t about my company and still end up buying Toyotas which now have sticky gas peddles and killed 20 people, but buy American anyways to keep your house from losing its value, or even losing your job.

Don't bow down to the manipulative government takeover of cars. Gov. now owns GM and it will do anything to take Toyota down! Toyota is too good, and for so long. It is easy to see this has been a conspiracy against Toyota, which obviously began happening several years ago by secret government workers being hired into Toyota, to design bad brakes. NOW, look at what a convenient time Toyota is getting bombed ... just in time for GM (new Gov. Motors), to offer $1000.00 to anyone who "turns in their Toyota!" Be careful on believing what government tells you. Better sit back, and don't be gullible now. This is YOUR CAR, and Toyota is top notch! Heck, I'd buy your Toyota right now. I have two Toyota's, but I've always wanted an Avalon! Don't fall for the media or gov. telling you your car isn't worth much! That's ridiculous! Hang on to your superior car, and Be Happy and proud that you have a great car. Take it in, get the new brakes, or pedal, IF yours happens to be one of the ones that needs it. Good Luck!
