I have a new 2010 Sequoia which comes with 3 months of free xm radio.
Unfortunately I have a problem programming the presets, or listening to any channels for that matter. Only 001 and 247 work. When I turn the dial knob to any channel it jumps automatically back to either of those two. Can somebody help? Thanks! |

hi;
you still have to register with XM, even though it is free for 3 months. read your XM packet, it will tell you how to do it. |

See also my note about "bad news for sequoia owners that like music".
How does your system sound as far as exquisite surround sound, deep booming bass, and perfect fidelity? |

Hi Roberto,
it turned out that the xm signal had been dropped and needed to be re-sent. I hope this doesn't happen all the time. I will look for your note, but so far I have no complaints about the sound system. But then again, I'm not too picky in that regard. Good for me I guess ![]() |

I have the 2010 version and the xm radio. I"ve been happy with how it sounds but I'll have to pay attention now. It hasn't bothered me though...

I've had the car for a little while now and I have to say the sound is great. In fact, I had people commenting that it was better than the sound in their luxury cars.

I'm going to pay attention when I drive my car this afternoon. I do know my kids say it's a lot louder for them in the back.
![]() I didn't have to register my XM radio - it's already activated with the free 90 trial. I did notice that I am not able to access some channels that are in the brochure but I haven't had a chance to really sit down and figure it out. If I scan with the button on the steering wheel, it skips a lot so I assume that is what is just preset.... |
