Here is your answer.
http://www.fueleconomy.gov/feg/sbs.htm The EPA has federal gov't posted results from actual tests. Just pick your make/model/year etc and let it do the rest. Across the board, it looks like the Rav 4 gets 22-24 mpg and the TL gets about 20-21 depending on the year and trim. These are blended numbers... Looks like the Rav 4 does better in the City, the TL does better on the HWY. Cheers, Ryan

whats better apple or orange...if you need 4 wheel drive the acura stinks...nither one get much over 20 mpg maybe 25 hyway...acurs is a hot rod [sort of lol] and the rav is a 4 wheel drive...

I own a 2010 RAV4 and a 2007 TL-S. There is very little in common between the vehicles. Not sure why you'd compare them.
TL is a semi-luxury car that you'd generally compare to a Lexus. RAV4 serves a completely different market and purpose and compares to a Honda. |
