I have a 92 toyota tercel and my fan is on all the time when I turn on my car

If you are using the A/C system, then that is normal. If you shut off the A/C then the fan should switch over to the regular mode of protection from over-heating. If your fan continues to run when you shut OFF your A/C, then you might have a stuck fan relay. Look for it in your fuse box, and see if it is over-heating.

fan might not have a clutch in it. it will continue to spin as long as the belt is moving. if there is a clutch than it may have broke and could do the same thing. dont see any problem with fan on while car is on anyway.
