The engine of my 2003 toyota matrix is not working and not reparable. It needs to be completely replaced. How much should this cost (roughly)? I am unsure as to whether to get the car fixed or just sell it and start over with something new!

You could have it rebuilt for around 2,000 that would be way cheaper than a brand new crate motor from the dealer that would run about 5 or 6 grand or you could have a used engine installed for about 1,000 bucks I would go with the rebuild its cheaper than buying another car good luck.
