OK, so I have a question of arguaby one of Toyota's most unique sportscar - the MR2. I know my "car generations" pretty well but, I've had some confusion with this one. Usually cars begin a new generation when the body style changes from its previous model. HOWEVER, I've been seeing things on youtube about the gen 2 mr2 and gen 3 mr2. The 1991 MR2 is a second generation MR2, but I've seen this body style and people calling them generation 3 MR2's. Are the generation 3 MR2's the ones from 1994 and up when Toyota made the tail light revision? I've always thought the generation 3 MR2 was Toyota's most recent MR2, the convertable with the newest body style that doesn't have a turbo trim. Thanks for your time.
