I'm a (soon to be) 16 yr. old girl. My parents and I have been looking at cars and I love the FJ Cruiser. I test drove one today.

Obviously, the main reason why I like it is because I think it's cute (the yellow kind). I know tons of people that think it's the most hideous car on the market; whatever floats your boat i guess!

My question is, if you know anything about them, what are some major cons with them? I'm really considering this as an option and I just want to know if it's not worth it at all.

awesome car and will hold value much better than most in class. It is almost indestructible. only draw back that comes to mind is that there is a lot of blind spots to the sides when merging

It may be good for you, but i think it looks like a piece of S**T. Look at some other cars like the Camry, or the Honda Civic.

Why not a Jeep Wrangler,you can get a true 4 door in the JK Wrangler and it does come in yellow.The Wrangler is rated #1 in resale value,the Jeep brand will always be around no matter what happens to Chrysler.

As for the FJ,it has a terrible looking dash and a lot of blind spots.

have you looked at any american cars.
