Do some research (crash test ratings, gas mileage, recalls,etc). Test drive them both. Some dealerships let you test them for a few days up to a week. You'll be amazed how driving a car for a few days can reveal to you. If you have the time and the patiences check if some of local rental car places rent that type of car. Reserve to rent it for a few days.
