There is a crack going across the windshield.
The check engine light is on. We had it checked before and were told that this was related to some exhaust problem that did not necessarily need to be fixed (apparently, this is true since the light has been on for 4 years, and the car has not given us any problems at all, even during the cold winter months!).
We are getting rid of this car, and I was just wondering...
1. Would a dealer still take this type of car, in such shabby condition, for a trade-in?
2. Would anybody actually consider buying this as-is?
3. Would it be worth the time, effort and money to have the windshield and the check engine light problem fixed before trying to sell?
