I have a 1992 Camry XLE V6 with 68350 miles on it. My parents bought it brand new in 1992 and barely drove it. Sometimes when I am at a stop light and have my foot on the brake the car starts to roll even though my foot hasn't been taken off the brake! I've also noticed that sometimes if I need to push the pedal to the floor or use the pwr button that when I return to normal speed that the car feels like it shakes. Does anyone know what could cause this problem?
I don't think that it is a brake problem because they were replaced about 6 months ago and this problem has been happening since the car was purchased new.
Maybe shaking is a bad word but yesterday I was running late and had to go up to 60 mph and the air temp was prolly 50-55 degrees F. It feels like the body shakes forward and back maybe in a jerking motion...
I tried what ToyoDave recommended and the brake pedal did go down. But still don't know what is causing my problem...
