A Toyota engine is hard to hurt unless it is over-heated, or you have been using the wrong oil in it. It makes no sense to rebuild the engine. There are plenty of great used engines in recycle yards all over the country with low mileage. When you change it, start using Mobil One or ELF oil to reducr engine wear. Also, use ONLY genuine Toyota coolant. Anything else will promote premature engine and gasket problems. Trust me!! Start with car-part.com for engine prices.
