I have a 2005 toyota corolla S with 28,000 miles on it. Is there a way I can turn off the maintenance light by myself without taking it to the dealership for maintenance? I recently began changing my own oil and the light appears when I start the ignition. I used to be able to hold down the odometer button while starting the car to reset the light with my 2004 camry, but it doesn't work with the corolla. Any suggestions?

again i say read the owners manuel it will tell you all about the lite why it came on what should be done and how to reset it
