I have a 1992 Toyota Previa LE. A while a go, I drove into a nice-sized puddle of water that left my car putt-putting like it wanted to cut off on me. Now, whenever there is moisture on the roads, the engine misfires, and depending on how wet the roads are, it will even cut off on me. I had the gas filter changed, there is no fluid leak, I had a tune-up done (minus the wires), and none of these things worked. Anyone else ever have this problem? I need help!
Thanks in advance

well engine misfire can come from the distributor collecting carbon, or pre-ignition inside the cylinders due to bad spark plugs.

I had the same problem. start the engine, stand by the right hand side door and listen carefully - if you can hear a "tick" whenever the engine is miss-firing then it's because the ignition wires are not sealed and the spark is "jumping" out of the wires due to the moisture. if you do it in the dark, then you will be able to actually see the spark jumping out. replacing the ignition wires did it for me. make sure the wires are well sealed to the distributor cap, and that the distributor is dry before the replacement.
Hope this helps!

moister is going in the distributor cap replace r put new rubber O ring (seal ) on the cap, that is missing causing moister to go in the cap result in missfiring.
