I have a toyota MR2 1990, i asked a questiona while ago about a problem with oversteer i was having. It was suggested to me that i might actually have a 1991 mr2 and the way i could find out would be to check the VIN number.
I checked my number (7a8h60k07960*****).
the 10th number (9), is surposed to show the year.. but that would mean the year is 2009.. how is this possible?
It's a japanese import. I live in New Zealand. The car has been resprayed. the only place i can find the vin number is in the engine bay.
