My car always starts but it idles very fast. It gets up to 2000 rpms when I initially start it and slowly drecreases to about 1500 after a couple seconds. Also, just recently, my dashboard lights were out when I started my car. I couldn't see the spedometer or the lights behind the numbers on the radio preset buttons. I drove home using the overhead lights which I know is dangerous. I thought I had blown a fuse but my dad checked them and they were all okay. I started my car a couple hours after he gave up trying to get the lights to work and they were fine. Help please!
