2005.? I have a Toyoto Matrix 2005. The check engine code read back "P2716, Pressure Control Solinoid D Electrical."
The problem involves the transmission slipping after the transmission oil is warmed up, i.e., after being drive 10 minutes. It jerks into the gears going up, and then is normal for gearing down. Shift times are appropriate. Transmission is automatic, electronic shift. Model is Matrix XR, 2005. Seems fine when just started and until warmed up.
I need to take this to dealer and have them give me an estimate. If you know anything about the solinoid, or whether it's really bad news, like something else wrong making it go bad, I would like the information.
