A couple of days ago my trusty 1990 Toyota Cressida decided to not accelerate anymore.. It seems like the gas pedal is stuck and will not budge. The car will not even go over 5 mph now! EEK Please help.. I am wondering if something just came loose. I have already looked with a flashlight where the pedals are and everything seems fine. The car is an automatic. I have owned it for two years and have always had to press the gas pedal pretty hard to go fast!

have a guy friend who knows about cars in general and check the accelerator cable thats connected to the intake manifold.

Sounds like you may have a fault in the Automatic Transmission
