requires a 2001 axle. ? With the 2002 axle installed the ABS and Air lights are showing on the dash due to a taper on the 2002 drive axle. Need to get it out and replace it with the 2001. I tried as well as a local front end alignment shop and neither of us could get it out. They suggested a transmission shop.

Use extreme force to pull it out,the circlip ring inside at the end of the axle is holding it back.Hit hard from inner joint.Transmission shop would do the same thing,there is no other trick.
