I dont know if this is bad security but i live at a dorm and i walked out to find my car and forgot where i parked it and walked up to someone elses camry. i put my key in the car and it unlocked the door after that i got in the car and realized it was not leather and got out and locked the car. I went to 2 other simular looking cars thinking it was mine and it worked. I finally found my car. this morning i tried it on a new 2007 camry and worked too. any one who knows anything about keys and locks can you explain to me why this works and camry's securities suck. i did not rob any of the cars just relocked them and walked out. but i am worried that some other persons key to a camry easily does the same to my car.
i am telling the truth my brother was a witness and i will even video tape it if i have to prove it. maybe we should do something about this for camry security but this does not mean that it will work in the ingition newer models may actually have the chip for the ignition to work.
