My neighbor and I disagree that a 2005 Dodge Ram Quad Cab Hemi can beat a 2007 Toyota Tundra Crew Max 5.7L. What do you guys think?

i'd personally go with the tundra. The hemi is a marketing game with dodge. Yes its a powerful engine, but it is no more powerful than the next 5.7. Toyota makes a tough truck. They are in it to win it in the american truck industry. When you say beat though what are you talking about, a drag race, pulling something, what? you leave it open ended. Anyway you cut it, i think the tundra has got you beat.

Hemi would wine a race easy if that's what you mean. No I'm not saying this because I own a Dodge or I love Dodges but I have driven alot of many different brands of trucks having worked as a mechanic and a auto body tech and for sure the Dodge Hemi truck is the most powerful truck I have ever driven. If i had to pick one to buy (which I wouldn't because gas mileage stinks!) I would probably take the Dodge myself because they have a good reputation as a tough work truck and they are nice to drive also. Hope this helps.......
