Ok... my dad has a 1986 Toyota 4Runner. It blew a head gasket, so he went ahead and pulled the engine out so he could change the head gasket and change some kind of bearings in the bottom because it wasn't running too smoothly before anyway. Well, he got the engine back in and when he goes to start it, it tries to turn over, but blows a fuse to the fuel pump so it's not getting any gas. He thought it may have been the fuel injectors grounding out so he ordered some new ones. Well, it still isn't working. It still blows the fuse when he turns the ignition over. He can unhook the ground wire and it tries to start and doesn't blow the fuse, but of course he can't leave it like that. Does anyone have any ideas on what the problem might be? My dad has worked on cars all his life and he's just stumped!! Thank you in advance!
