i need to read about how to drop the gas tank. i have a leak and have to find out where its coming from. i had one but my boyfriend threw it out like a moron. sooo.. know any sites that have that kind of info??

i will save you some time... instead of dropping the gas tank take out the back seats you can access it through there. i wish i had known this information when i did mine!!! you should be able to fix the problem from there it is either a leaky steal hose or a cracked rubber one! have fun!

Try Autozone.com. They have repair diagrams for many repairs on popular cars.

You will have a hard time finding the actual manual on line, the publishers really want you to buy the hardcopys. Thats how they make their money. ; )
You can probably get the real manual at murrays, autozone, or pepboys for around $20.

And about the actual repair. Itis very simple to get the tank down. There are three lines and three wires going to the tank. They must all be disconnected/unplugged. then support the tank with a jack or transmission stand and undo the straps. Then lower the tank. There are many aftermarket and reconditioned tank suppliers that have reasonable prices, so dont get ripped off by a dealer or a shop!
