...to sometimes alternate, up and down. I have been to several mechanics with this problem, and none could fix it. i've wasted a good amount of money on this. since the check engine light sometimes goes on, it will not pass the emissions test. this is a toyota previa with an inline 4 super-charged engine. any help is appreciated.
its a 1995 or -96 with over 100,000 miles on it. and dont tell me there is nothing wrong with it, the idle is atleast 2 - 3000 too high. i often have to put it to neutral on stops because it just feels like i am break-torquing, dont want to run down my trannie. also, its never been to the emissions with this problem, i am afraid that it will fail, and want to fix this problem prior.
