Comfortable meaning nicely cushioned seats, roomy leg space, etc.

I work for a car company and have driven most of the current small cars on the market, including the Versa (sedan and hatchback) and the Yaris (4-door sedan only).

The Nissan Versa has the most comfortable seats by far of all the cars. They all have pretty good leg room, but the Versa seems more comfortable in the back.

I would definitely suggest test driving both cars before making a decision. Everyone has different taste!
