im planning on buying a truck

For one, you are comparing 2 vehicles that are not in the same class. One is a SUV and the other is a full size pick-up truck. You'd compare a Tundra to the F150, GMC Sierra, Dodge Ram, Chevy Silverado. The EXT is comparable to a Hummer H2 SUT, Lincoln Navigator, Lexus LX470, or Range Rover. This is the deal you are talking 20 grand more for a EXT than a Tundra. Tundra tows more. I don't know if I want to tow anything with a $60,000 truck, unless I have $100,000 boat behind it. Besides, you will need the Tundra to tow it anyway, because the EXT couldn't tow a boat that weighs 8,000 pounds.
