I have a problem maybe someone can help with. I recently bought a used 2006 Rav4 from a private owner. He had installed a stereo that had a camera hooked up to the license plate. Every time the car went into reverse a screen would slowly come out and show you what's behind you. Handy? maybe sometimes but I don't need it all the time so I went to put a switch in line to use when I chose. The feed came from the reverse light signal so I cut the line to the stereo and put a switch in. I accidently hit the wire to metal and blew a fuse for the rev. lights. I then had a problem of identifying which fuse was for the rev-light. I started pulling, checking , and replacing fuses but there were too many and the process was difficult as the fuse box was hard to see and get at. I then went online and found out the rev. lights were on the gauge1 fuse. Sure enough I found it blown and replaced it. BUT-- now my Daytime running lights are my Hi-beams instead of the small projector lights under the headlights. In fact the projector lights never come on. SO --my question is how do I get these to work. Some thoughts I'm having are possibly I pulled a fuse that rebooted some setting, or I blew the fuse to the projector light in which case what fuse would that be under?
