i just bought a 2008 new tundra and i didnt purchase the alarm they offer at the time of the purchase. is it possible to go back to toyota and ask them to install an alarm security system on my truck or is it to late . i know its gonna cost money but thats no problem

Toyota, like many manufacturers prefab the wiring harnesses prior to assembly, so adding/removing extras like navigation, car alarms, etc are just a matter of the right part/connection. The rs3200 alarm is typically what is installed and yes it can be in yours. Depending on options installed on your truck, the system may already be installed, and only need to be "flashed" by the dealer to work - still costs though.
