I've had this MR2 Garaged almost 9 years. (Without the engine) So I decided it was time to stretch its legs so i put the engine in and so on... I also lost the keys so I went to the Junk Yard to get a switch from another MR2 and now it turns on

My problem is that I cant open the trunk and was wondering if I take the ORIGINAL switch to a locksmith and have a key made to it, will the key open the trunk as well??
I can't take the car to a Locksmith beacuse the plates are expired since 2003 LOL

You only got the Valet key that kets you drive the car but not open the glovebox or trunk get another cylinder and get all of the keys
