the freeway everday?
I read some online review where it said that "it's not reliable on the freeway or snowy roads".

On snow any car is only as good as the tires, I change to winter tires every winter, once you experience the extra traction and safety you will never run all seasons through the winter. Cant see why the Yaris would make a poor 60 mile/day commuter. Its a very well build car.

I live in a remote mountain area with steep grades. It snows heavily here and the roads are icy. I used studded tires in the winter. The Yaris gets thumbs way up!!! I had white out conditions last year, horrible roads and it went way beyond my expectations.
