88 toyota 4 runner 3.0 V6 EFI
Hey hows it going? I have an 88 toyota 4 runner that died the other night while i was driving. The rpm's just dropped to about 1k and it just sputtered with the gas to the floor. Then died for good, It turns over and wants to go,But it just sputters. I have fuel pressure(Fuel pump works) good spark and it turn's over smooth. It sounds like it's trying to run on 2 cylinders. After cranking it over, I felt the exhaust manifold and only two cylinders are getting warm. All six fuel injectors are working (Cap+rotor look good) I also ran the check engine light code check and got,Momentary interruption in ECU power supply. Please help me out boys. Thanks man

Could be slipped valve timing (camshaft timing).

If the ignition timing is late but the distributor is tight and hasn't moved, it's a racing certainty something's gone wrong with the timing chain or belt depending on the engine you have
