I ordered a sparco shift knob and boot for my 2001 5 speed manual Toyota mr2 spyder. The shift knob came with a few screws and some sort of tool. I need help installing the boot and knob into my car. I can unscrew my stock shift knob but i am afraid to remove the stock boot. I want to know if i have to remove my whole center console or if there is an easier way to do this. I don't know anyone in my town that can install it for me. Please help me out. pictures would help too.
