Do it right

Dealer just quoted me $650.00.
Condenser is $288.00
R134A is $16.00
Toyota parts on-line, condenser is $214.00
Autozone (Visteon part #6252) is $173.00
I know the condenser is in front of the radiator, and I was told I need to remove the headlights and grill to replace it. I'm very mechanically inclined and I know I can handle the job.
Any pointers or suggestions are needed and welcomed.

its easy i think the radiator has to at least be loosend and moved back a little (might be wrong) but be sure the a/c system is completely discharged and when you reconnect the fittings use new o-rings that are for a/c
good luck

is not a hard job to do, is easy if you have the tools and a bit of mechanical knowledge but... the problems is with the refrigerant, only certified techs are allow to work with the ac gas to collect it and recicle it
also you have to do another things when you install the condenser and only techs can recharge the system and do something call in spanish "hacerle vacio"
if you something wrong and the system get dust you can harm the complete ac system so be carefull
