Why did they stop making the Toyota Cressida it was a good car?

Well like the other great models they have- they just discontinued them, They have went overboard- and redesigned alot of cars - Ex: Cressida>is now a Avalon - Celica>Matrix- I guess they call it advancing into the future!!!

they stopped because no one would buy a lexus. i read this in a book about toyota
