I have a 1991 toyota cressida that needs a new alternator. Seeing as how it is an older car I went in search of a used alternator. It is a very hard part to find. If anyone knows if I can use an alternator from a different year please let me know and what year it my be so as I can increase my search. thanks for any help.

if you buy a used alternator you have NO guarantee that it will last. contact an auto parts store ( ADVANCE, AUTO-ZONE)
