I paid the downpayment for a L200. But thank god the dealer started jerking me around with the delivery date. So I got my money back and got me a 2007 Hilux, top of the range.
I've had a jeep Cheroke and a For dexplorer, as well as a Landrover Defender with a big @ss V8 in it. But my Hilux with its 2700 CC inline 4 goes places that none of the other 3 4X4s would have dreamed of going.
it's a simple car, no cruise control, power seats. It does have power mirrors, windows and locks.
I totally love this car. I'd say go for it!

I am looking to buy a new one. Yes I know they are not very 'green' but I do tow a 2000kg trailer on a regular basis.

I have this wierd thing for the Toyota Hilux. Go to google and type in Top Gear and Toyota Hilux, watch that.

I drove one once, it had 250k miles on it and was used only to carry trailers. Still worked flawlessly. My respect for that truck is endless.
