I have an 04' nissan murano and want the 07' FJ Cruiser, but the inside is totally different, alot less luxury. Just wanted to know if this would seem a really dumb thing to do.

View Full Version : would i be crazy to exchange my 04' Nissan Murano for the 07 Toyota FJ Cruiser??? Ethan A 10-24-2007, 01:28 PM I have an 04' nissan murano and want the 07' FJ Cruiser, but the inside is totally different, alot less luxury. Just wanted to know if this would seem a really dumb thing to do. rakapur2002 10-24-2007, 01:29 PM i have the murano and i hate it!!!! i would trade it for any car there is but its on a lease so if you hate it as much as me trade that *****. also does your murano feel like the brake is on while your driving it??? please answer this when you pick the best answer BigKid24 10-24-2007, 01:29 PM Yes, just the fact the Toyota FJ Cruiser gets worse gas mileage. If you don't care about gas prices or a smoother ride than go for the Toyota. Karupt322 10-24-2007, 01:40 PM Its pretty simple actually it all depends on you! Murano - 1. Built on a car chasie will drive and handle like a car. 2. CVT Transmission makes for a smooth ride. 3. Luxuary Features that compare to Lexus RX330 4. One of my favorite SUV's ever! FJ Cruiser - 1. Compares to Nissan Xterra not Murano. 2. Built on a Truck Chassie so it will be a stiff bumpy ride. 3. normal transmission and worse gas mileage. 4. ITS A TRUCK! justanormalguy 10-24-2007, 01:40 PM I know this is a stupid answer but yes you would be crazy. The fj cruiser is the ugliest thing i've seen next to a honda element. but that's just my opinion. the murano is a very sporty looking suv. the fj looks like the retarded brother of the hummer, lol. I guess you it depends on what you want to use it for, if you're around alot of asphalt, go with the murano. If you want something to offroad in, go with something other than an fj, unless you want people laughing at your suv when you simply drive by. Martin Chemnitz 10-24-2007, 01:45 PM I'm not a fan. but Nissan and Toyota make great cars. This might just come down to personal preference. max 10-24-2007, 01:50 PM i think so the murano is a lot better this is just my opinion artsy5347 10-24-2007, 01:55 PM In my opinion, yes. The Murano is clearly a better daily driver and family car. It also has all-wheel drive and can handle muddy roads and normal off highway stuff. The FJ rides like a tank and burns more fuel. The Murano's resale is strong and the FJ's is unknown. Keep the Murano and save the extra money. ps: rakapur is an angry person who knows nothing about cars. Check out his previous questions. He's just angry all the time. |
