I was told this by a local mechanic who said they were similar to the K&N Air Filters which only have to be maintanced, versus changed every few thousand miles. Hellp.

toyota makes 2 diff filters for your truck 1 is a regular filter thats is made of the paper style filters that need replacing when dirty and they have a screen type filter that can be cleaned paper about 20 bucks screen about 80 bucks if your keeping truck for long term the screen is best deal and trd toyota racing division also makes a air intake with screen type filter for about 250 bucks very close to k&n but they say toyota and you know the name alone worths 10 bucks add some flow masters and dual exhaust sounds so sweet trd makes a exhaust kit 1000 dollars www.trd.com
