Okay, well the Car is a 2001 Toyota Camry with the 2.2L 4 cyl engine and 103,000 mi. Recently within the last 250 miles the check engine light came on and the alternator started making a strange whining/squeeling noise. I haven't had it checked yet but today I was driving on the freeway and when i got off i noticed that my engine was running hot. it wasn't all the way to the 'H' yet but it wasn't where it should be, i drove home and checked under the hood and there was smoke/steam(?) coming out from the engine block and radiator area. I checked the Coolant and it was completely bone dry. I checked the oil and it was also empty on the dipstick. I filled up the coolant all the way to full, filled up the oil, then let it cool down. then i drove it for about 5 miles. I checked the coolant level again and it was completely empty again. Empty in 5 miles. The oil is still full though. I don't see any obvious leaks, and now the rad fan isn't running unless the AC is turned on. help?
