My mother has recently bought a 08 plate Aygo, after many years of owning an old fiesta, but shes only 5ft and so the sitting position and pedals were perfect for her.

The Aygo seemed a good bet but, on hers atleast, the clutch pedal is very high and she finds it stiff to push down. As a result she is now literally in agony, can't drive to work, and if frankly pretty upset.

Is it possible to lower the pedal and soften the push required to depress the pedal, or to replace the pedal with one that got a shirt arm ?

I have driven it myself and I'm not 5ft, I did find it higher than in any other car I've used, you literally have to hold your leg in the air when in urban areas, to change gear frequently ?

Hopefully someone will have knowledge of this and can help.
