Hey guys,

Trying to hook a Tach gauge up.
Thought easy as, latch onto neg of coil, power, lights done. NOT

1990 2.4 Manual petrol Hiace...RZH113
No coil. Its in the distributor. No tach output. Just a couple wires running to the dizzy.
How do I get a reading from that? Autometer do an adaptor but it looks like its only for coil on plug. MSD do them but not sure what one would work.

Anyone done a tach on such. Pictured attached for the peeps who know what they are looking at.

The grey plug on top is the feed in to it I think. The wires run off to the back of the unit.
