Have bought a Hiace. Its great, I love it. I'm going to be commuting 50 miles each way in it five days per week, most of it motorway. I'm going to buy an oil filter wrench and am going to change the engine, gearbox and diff' oils as per the service schedule. I have searched for hours on the net before finding this forum. I've been to the local Toyota dealership with the registration document to ask for help. They hadn't sold it, they had never serviced it and they weren't interested in helping. Does anyone have the correct oil spec's and service intervals handy. All I've been able to find is engine oil 7.? litres (which seems a lot) and my guess is 5/40 semisynth. No idea about the gearbox, diff. Thanks for any help. Regards All.

Who sat at the dealer spares terminal with my registration document for reference. Oil is 5w/30w. 6.8 iitres and changed every 10,000 miles. Gearbox / diff oil is 75w / 80w. Volume ?. Regards. Jude.
