I sold my car over a year ago and was waiting to get a hybrid. The Yaris has good gas mileage and the price is right. Should I wait and get the hybrid or get the Yaris now for less money?

I wouldn't get a yaris at all it has the worst safety rating of any new car. Just look it up I would buy another car that is really good on gas. Good Luck

i think if gas mileage is what you're after, go ahead and buy the yaris. The mileage is comparable and the hybrids do more damage to the environment than a yaris any way.

As a very pro Toyota person, it saddens my heart to say the yaris is one of the ugliest cars on the road. I would either step up to the new corrolla(which is actually bigger and more like a camry). As far as hybrids , i've driven most of them(even first generation prius's). I would recommend the Honda Civic Hybrid you can get one for just under $23G's. Both the Prius and the camry have about the same interior space. The prius has more cargo area than a camry. The altima is the same as a camry, but the camry rides better than the altima. And if you had $600 a month maybe you could be one of those lucky poeple to lease the New Honda that only emits water, no toxins.
