was thinking of trying to find one in south america (guatemala or mexico) my grandmother lives in grand cayman, so that might be a source.
I need to know how to tag & register it w/ state & customs. also, would parts and service be expensive in the states for a diesel namely?

IMO, it is not worth the time and money to import an old car.
Importing one would involve lots of paper work and money.
