When it is cold out it is near the cold mark on the gauge. when it is really hot out it reads almost half way up. I have driven it 1600 miles while it was like this. (when i first noticed) it may have been doing this longer. I did not realize till i was going on a road trip to massachusetts from florida. It sounds fine, fluids are fine.

sounds normal, passing half way is a sign of overheating.
